**Logistics & Mail Room Operative**

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics & Mailroom Operative to join our Facilities team, providing exceptional logistics, goods, and mail receiving services.

In this role, you will operate within the site Facilities team, upholding the ISS values and leadership principles, as well as the unity values established between ISS and our client.

Your focus will be on demonstrating team behaviours that achieve significant results and outcomes, helping ISS maintain its industry-leading status and enhancing our reputation with customers.

You will ensure that mailroom, goods receiving, and porterage services are delivered professionally, in line with site SLAs and customer expectations for quality service.

ISS provides a wide range of high-quality facility services designed to maintain the fabric and appearance of buildings. Our offerings include facilities management, cleaning and hygiene services, maintenance and building services, catering, security, landscaping, and more, for customers in both the public and private sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**
- General day to day movement of items around site as requested
- Ensuring job requests are completed within the SLA
- Assisting in the planning and organising of movement of goods and furniture in accordance with churn requirements
- Assist in the planning and set up for site events
- Assisting with waste management
- Processing of incoming and outgoing mail in line with site specific requirements
- Processing of courier requests for inbound and outbound services using manual and on line systems
- Operation and safe use of mail room and porterage equipment
- Operation of computerised systems as appropriate and where required
- Provide effective communication with colleagues and users to ensure that customer expectations are met and/or managed to meet the clients service level

**Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications**
- Must be able to identify and resolve issues and challenges to meet/exceed the expectations of our customer and clients
- Must have general experience of portering / stores and mail room activity
- Appropriate qualifications or experience in manual handling and general health and safety at work
- Must be highly motivated and a good communicator
- Must have some knowledge of Health and Safety at work and risk assessments
- I.T skills
- Must be willing to develop own skills
- A full UK driving licence is essential
