Building Restoration and Cleaning (Leeds) Ltd are a specialist Building and Restoration Company based in Kirkstall, Leeds. We specialise in stone repairs and repointing of stone and brick, using predominantly lime mortar. In addition to this we clean buildings using a range of methods including, Chemical Cleaning and DOFF Cleaning.

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a new worker to join our team of specialist pointers and stone repairers. This is a temporary full-time post that we hope will lead to a permanent position for the right person. Ideally, we would like to take on someone with the relevant skills and experience, however, we are willing to consider those with no prior experience but willing to learn, relevant support and training will be given where necessary.

All necessary tools and equipment will be provided by us along with any PPE that is required.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- To perform all duties set out by the manager (pointing, repairing or cleaning)
- To be responsible for the organisation of all tools and equipment required to carry out the job in hand.
- To clean up the site at the end of the day and ensure your tools and equipment are properly cared for and stored
- To work in line with our Health and Safety Policy, to safeguard yourself and those around you.
- To follow site specific Method Statements
- To work co-operatively with colleagues and be an effective member of the team

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A good work ethic and attitude vital
- Experience on a site preferred, but not essential
- Ability to repoint stone/ brick and carry out stone repairs to a high standard desirable, but not essential
- Attention to detail to ensure that the best job is done
- Full Driving Licence desirable but not essential.
- CSCS Card desirable, but not essential
- Punctuality and good time keeping skills essential
- A willingness to learn and develop relevant skills through training opportunities
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work co-operatively with colleagues
- Ability to work in all weather conditions

**Working hours**: 39 hours a week, 8am - 4pm.

Occasionally it may be necessary to work out of hours/ at the weekend. This will be paid at time and a half and double time on a Sunday.

**Salary**: Dependent on experience.
