This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual looking to progress their career, to join our Marketing and BD Team as a Digital Communications Assistant the role will be based in our Bath office however may require occasional travel to any of our other locations or off site as client demands require.
As the Digital Communications Assistant, you will be an integral part of helping to design and expand the firm's coverage in the chosen markets and regions. Designing and generating fresh content that connect with our target audience in new ways that expand our reach. The role includes responsibility for identifying and managing a content communications strategy which will feed into internal and external client communications, event development and brand management, with a focus on driving progress against strategic priorities and values.

**Key** **Responsibilities**
General duties include, but not limited to:

- Develop and implement our communications strategy, with clear reference to our values and purpose, and to include the firmwide responsible business agenda
- Create written content to support various initiatives across areas such as the firms D&I strategy, talent attraction strategies and the firms’ values
- Advise key internal stakeholders and employee networks across the firm on best practice around communicating upcoming projects and updates
- Work with internal contacts to develop news stories and interesting information
- Building and maintaining strong proactive and reactive media relations, working closely with SK PR
- Creating content associated with projects across internal and external communications channels
- Assisting with producing periodic status updates and reports
- Social media training
- researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
- collating and analysing media coverage
- writing and editing articles with fee-earners
- managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and LinkedIn
- Encouraging and training the firm on social media
- Ability to respond to sector specific news. Discuss with relevant fee earner and produce response to populate to website and other social media sites
- Create monthly reports on key activities

**Requirements**:

- Proven and demonstrable experience working in a communications role with an ability to commission, edit and proof content for online/digital format.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write concise, interesting and accurate copy for a professional audience.
- Practical working knowledge of content management systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing relationships with a range of internal and external contributors.
- Experience in producing digital banners, flyers and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite or graphic design platforms
