Chief Finance Officer

The Institute of Hospitality is the professional body for managers in Hospitality.
We are looking for a senior finance professional with the ability to operate technically, commercially and strategically and assisting the Head of Finance with the financial function of the Institute.
This role is part time (15 hours a week) and can be a mixture of hybrid/office working.
Prior knowledge of pensions and VAT is an essential part of this role.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- To support the Head of Finance in the development of the business plan
- To liaise with the pension fund scheme administrators
- Assistance in the production of annual accounts, budgets and management information
- Management of the Pensions Committee
- Support the Head of Finance with both regular and ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis.
- To ensure appropriate processes and procedures are operationally in place for the finance team to successfully support the business.

**Essential**:
- A suitable finance qualification
- Substantial financial management experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience of pension administration
- Extensive knowledge and experience of VAT calculations
- Extensive knowledge of current issues in the areas of finance and business
- V & H Look Up experience
- Pivot Table experience
- Excellent numeric and analytical skills;
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Excellent IT skills across all platforms
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven track record of delivering and meeting tight deadlines
- Must be comfortable working across a range of skills
- Must be flexible and able to multi-task

- Membership organisation experience
