**Head of Religious Education (RE)**:

**About the Role**

As Head of RE, you will be responsible for leading the department with vision and dynamism. You will play a pivotal role in:

- **Shaping the Department's Vision and Direction**: Developing a stimulating and engaging RE curriculum across all key stages (KS3 - KS5) that aligns with the school's ethos and national curriculum requirements.
- **Inspiring and Motivating Staff**: Providing strong leadership and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment where teachers can thrive.
- **Delivering Exceptional RE Lessons**: Igniting students' curiosity about different religions and philosophies through high-quality, engaging lessons.
- **Raising Standards and Achieving Excellent Outcomes**: Monitoring student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective strategies to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- **Contributing to the Wider School Community**: Leading RE clubs or trips and actively participating in school initiatives that enrich the lives of students.

**About You**
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience teaching RE at a secondary school level.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team of teachers.
- A strong track record of raising standards in RE and achieving excellent student outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for RE and a commitment to fostering a stimulating learning environment for all students.
