**Contract/Hours**:Full-Time, Permanent (working 37 hours a week)
- predominantly Monday to Friday, and some weekend days and week day evenings, emergency cover may be needed on occasion) Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the home being staffed 24/7.

**The Role**:
We are looking for an exceptional Service Co-ordinator (Deputy Childrens Home Manager) to join us who will be supporting the Registered Manager to lead a fantastic team of staff to assist in the running of a brand new flagship single placement children's home for a young person with learning difficulties and associated needs. You will ensure that the young person's needs are central to all decisions made and opportunities for development are at the forefront.

**What you will be doing to make a difference?**
- By being responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential home which provides care and support to one 16 year old child, including safeguarding and Health & Safety matters, ensuring that all regulating body's expectations are met.
- By managing and leading a team of staff that provides innovative, responsive, high quality and person-centred services to children, young people and their families.
- By providing regular supervision and performance reviews to staff.
- By managing a delegated budget, ensuring effective and efficient management of expenditure in the home.
- By establishing and developing effective relationships and channels of communication with colleagues, community organisations, partner agencies and other external agencies, including chairing and leading multi-agency meetings.
- By reviewing service provision with others, ensuring continued improvements are made, driving innovation and business development.
- Be able to work shifts on a 24/7 basis as required by the establishment and participate on an on-call rota.
**What we require from you**:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or equivalent, if Level 4 then you will need willingness to work towards Level 5.
- Substantial managerial experience within a similar environment.
- Experience of managing budgets, and developing and managing stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
- Successful track record with OFSTED outcomes (Good or Outstanding)
- Experience of being a Children's Deputy Home Manager or Acting Manager.
