Front Desk Receptionist

**As Front Desk Receptionist your key responsibilities include**:
- To ensure that all guests are welcomed to the hotel and delivering friendly and efficient service to guests
- To deal with any guest queries or problems during their stay and ensure that they are being looked after
- Carrying out operational tasks, such as Checking in/out guests, Bar service.
- Conducting fire walks and ensuring that the building is safe and secure during the shift
- Providing accurate shift handovers ensuring all items requiring attention are detailed and the shift checklist is completed to required standard
- Ensuring telephones are answered promptly and politely, according to Company standard
- Ensuring all information is communicated to the relevant department in the interest of providing excellent customer service
- Being fully aware of and understanding Fire, Bomb, Health & Safety and emergency procedures.
**Essential Skills Required**:
- Previous Hotel Reception experience in a quality hotel
- Excellent communications skills
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude and Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Opera, Rezlynx PMS advantageous
**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
