Environmental Officer

Cotteswold Dairy, a family business with 85 years’ history is looking for an Environmental Officer, to take responsibility for the Company’s environmental strategies and development to meet legislative requirements.

**The Environmental Officer Role**

Reporting in to the HSE Manager, the role includes:

- Analysing, interrogating and producing all mandatory and voluntary data requirements for submission to external bodies i.e. Environmental Agency and Dairy UK
- Monitoring and reporting on all aspects of site pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health and conservation to meet the requirements of the site permit (IPPC)
- Supporting the HSE manager to further develop the current environmental management system toward achieving ISO 14001 external accreditation for the business
- Liaising with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and industry parties to drive awareness of future environmental legislation that could impact the business strategy

As a strong communicator, you will be able to foster and maintain excellent working relationships; possessing a positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate high levels of commitment

**Environmental Officer: Working Hours**

Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
