28 July 2023Our Tewkesbury-based client is looking for a Technical Advisor to join their team. They require someone who can understand their technical environment, as they provide heating solutions in an environmentally friendly way.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience as a plumbing or heating engineer, who maybe no longer wants to crawl into holes on site, but can instead offer support and advice over the phone from the comfort of an office
The Technical Advisor role involves:

- Assisting the technical department over the telephone
- Taking calls from installers on site to offer advice and support in the installation
- Providing first-line technical support by reading and referencing compliance documents and manuals to ensure correct installations
- Assisting with certification and case reviews by the Technical team to continue driving forward development of products and services
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times - combining technical know how with a friendly demeanour

Skills required to succeed as a Technical Advisor include:

- Strong communication skills, especially over the telephone
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals
- Problem-solving ability - can you think on your feet and give accurate instruction?
- Technical engineering or heating industry knowledge
