**Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Design Integrity to join our team based in Birmingham, working on the HS2 project.**:
**About The Role**:

- Management of Design Integrity team.

**What You'll Be Doing**:
Lead Design Integrity team, manage in delivery of:

- Design Processes, including Technical Assurance, Field Change Requests, Redlines, As-Built, Health & Safety Files.
- Standards management, including routewide technical and commercial design implication of standards changes (TACs).
- System Safety.
- Supervise and develop SafetiBase.
- Routewide CEMAR communications.
- Coordinate, review and submit to HS2 departures identified and justified by Sublots, enabling functions and BBV’s supply chain.
- Support BBV Design Delivery Directors in design delivery and assurance to cost and schedule and management of Technical Debt.
- To ensure efficient deployment of the design related processes in BBV and lead their improvement.
- Support improvement of other procedures and integration with Construction Assurance and Information Management teams.
- To represent BBV in technical forums from HS2.
- In particular Design Directors Meeting, Surface Working Group, Principal Designer Meeting, etc.
- Responsible for technical aspects of DJV and other routewide technical contracts (C2 owned contracts) and approval of routewide CEMAR communications to DJV and HS2.
- Supervise Lead Designer Representative team within budget Responsible for BBV’s relationship with Technical Approval Authority (TAA).
- Management of DJV Sublot zero to schedule and budget Management of staff budget for Design Integrity team.

**The following qualities/ experience are essential**:

- Experience of practical infrastructure construction.
- Experience of civil engineering design and Design & Build projects.
- Experience of design management or engineering management.
- High level of understanding of construction risk.
- Knowledge of LEAN processes.
