Esol Tutor

Job description

1. To assist in the development and delivery of Language Support programmes offered by the centre i.e Talk English; ESOL;
2. To carry out all teaching duties to the highest possible standard.

3. To act as a personal tutor to a group of students

4. To provide student assessments, reports and references as required.

5. To participate in appraisal and staff development.

6. To contribute to centre curriculum development

7. To participate in any arrangements required to facilitate organisation inspection.

9. To participate in the Organisation self-assessment process and contribute to the centre performance indicators.

10. To complete all necessary record keeping

11. To contribute enthusiastically to the work of the organisation, supporting and conforming to all organisations policies and corporate decisions.

12. To ensure all the required standards of health and safety and adhere to all organisations policies including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and safeguarding policies for adult and young people.

13. To participate in staff training and personal development sessions, in line with staff training actions plans.

14. Prepare and submit periodic reports and statistical returns on performance of projects to the co-ordinator and funders for monitoring purposes.

16. To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
