We are looking for part time and full time ESOL Tutors to work in Bradford
Fixed Term Contract until December 2023
Full time 35 hours per week, part time 17.50 hours per week, salary of £24,310.00 per annum full time (pro-rata for part time role)
**About the Service**
The ESOL team at Horton Housing Association teaches across Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees. This post is Bradford based with some work across North Yorkshire.
**About You**
The role of the tutor is to deliver ESOL, Cultural Orientation and employment based lessons to refugees and other migrants whose first language is not English. Classes may range from pre-entry to level 2 and will be a mixture of bespoke courses and formal qualifications. The ESOL Tutor will work closely with the wider teams to ensure participants become independent and work collaboratively to improve service and support Quality Assurance processes.
**Job Role**
You will provide focused support working with people identifying needs for learning. Planning and delivering lessons and workshops for groups and individual students. You will carry out assessments of students’ needs, and create learning plans for mixed abilities. Plan schemes of work for ESOL and cultural orientation programmes. Participate in Quality Assurance processes at the Training Centre through quarterly monitoring and reporting. Monitor and review programme activity and standards to ensure funding and Awarding Organisation guidelines are met and comprehensive records of participation and outcomes are kept. You will look to develop and maintain positive relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
