Here at Active Luton we have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate, enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Community Link Worker.

If you are solution focused, embrace a challenge and enjoy supporting others to achieve better outcomes, the Community Link Worker role could be for you.

Skills required include, empathy, compassion, strong negotiation, patience and a real appetite for helping those who require additional support to improve their health.. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference to people's lives, but putting in place interventions that reintegrate people into the local community.

The successful applicant should have experience supporting individuals with a range of non-medical issues, preferably with emotional health conditions, those who are lonely or isolated, or who have complex social needs which affect their wellbeing. Experience of working with community organisations that work with people to promote good health and wellbeing would also be advantageous. You will be working closely with colleagues across Total Wellbeing Luton, authorities and local partner agencies. The post will be based at Apex House Luton. The post holder will work across locations in Luton, Bedford and Central Bedfordshire.
