**Location**: Ardenleigh Forensic Secure Women’s Hospital / Anawim Centre

**Grade**:SCP 18-21

**Salary**:£10.37 - £11.43 per hour

**Hours**:15 hours - 3 shifts a week, each shift is 5 hours between 3pm - 8pm Saturday
& Sunday and one other weekday evening

**Responsible to**:Ardenleigh Coordinator**

**Job Purpose**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enhancement (activities) worker to be part of a tailored pilot project in partnership with Ardenleigh Secure Women’s Blended Service and Anawim Women’s Centre. The project aims to improve women’s experiences of secure care, reduce length of stay in hospital as well as preventing women in the community from spiraling and entering such a facility in the first place.

**About you**:
Do you have the resilience required to work in secure forensic environment?

You will need to have skills that will complement the service but we also need you to be flexible to the needs of the women on the ward and present an array of meaningful activities that they may find useful. Women have asked for a variety of activities on the ward to include arts & crafts, hairstyling, beauty and makeup, dance and movement, cooking, gardening and flower arranging and mindfulness.

Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £10.37-£11.43 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
