**Job Title**:F&B Supervisor

**Department**: F&B

**Reporting to**:F&B Manager

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is an essential support to the F+B Manager within the Skylark Golf and Country Club team maintaining the success of all Food and Beverage functions and ensuring service excellence.

**Role Accountabilities**:
**Supervision**:
∙ To set a good example for the staff with regards to punctuality, attendance, attitude and hygiene.

∙ To assist in the training of new staff in methods and procedures.

∙ To ensure relevant health and safety and fire safety standards are adhered to. ∙ To assist in providing induction training for new staff, and complete Skills Checklists within their first month of employment.

∙ To update Team Members on department performance in the absence of the F+B Manager. ∙ To direct, control and organise F+B Team Members to ensure that the required standards are achieved and maintained.

∙ To advise staff of unavailability, composition of dishes, information relation to drinks, wines, etc, and any other relevant information in order to ensure the efficient operation of the Front of House.

∙ To manage the team in the absence of the F+B Manager

**Productivity**:
∙ To assist in ordering supplies as and when necessary.

∙ To assist in accurate cash-up procedures at the end of night.

∙ To be aware of all relevant legislation regarding service of liquor, the sale of tobacco, opening hours, etc.

∙ To communicate regularly and efficiently with F+B team members.

∙ To constantly strive to improve the standards of hygiene and service throughout the Front of House.

∙ To maintain efficient and effective work methods and systems.

∙ To assist in providing adequate cover of the department in the most effective manner.

**Cost Control**:
∙ To assist in checking in deliveries.

∙ To ensure that all services delivered within the F+B operation are being charged for correctly.

**Quality of Service**:
∙ To satisfy all customer requirements by ensuring that the service is constantly maintained at a consistently high standard with particular focus on regular clientele.

**Hygiene**:
∙ To practice high standards of personal hygiene at all times in terms of grooming and uniform.

∙ To maintain the required standards of operational hygiene according to the cleaning rotas at all times.

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**:
∙ Good communication skills

∙ Excellent interpersonal skills

∙ Organised

∙ Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

∙ Eager to develop within the Hospitality industry

∙ Flexibility towards working hours is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
