The Farmhouse Practice is currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join reception team to work 30-40 hours a week. Providing general assistance within the team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors.

Our reception team are the first link for many patients and visitors to the practice. The role varies on a day to day basis. Some of the role responsibilities are:

- Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice.
- Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow up appointments
- Ensure that all new patients are registered onto the computer system promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that all urgent queries are dealt with in an appropriate manner.
- Assist with prescription requests and ensure that they are dealt with within 48hours.
- Ensure correspondence, reports, results etc. Are dealt with appropriately. Including scanning, ensuring patients that all recent correspondence is available when patients are seen.
