Childcare Playworker

Role: Kidsize Out of School Club Playworker

Location: Kingswells Primary School, Aberdeen AB158TG

Hours: 9 hours p/w

We are looking to hire for the following shifts:
7:15am-9:15am - Tuesday and Thursday and 3pm - 5:30pm Tuesday and Thursday

Pay: £9.50 - £11.35 (depending on age and qualifications)

What the role includes:

- Working alongside practitioners at the club to prepare and deliver quality play opportunities and contribute to daily running of the out of school club.
- Dropping off and picking up children from school.
- Following policies and procedures to achieve best practice.
- Developing and maintaining good communication with service users and other multi-agencies.
- Preparing and serving breakfast/snacks
- Setting up and tidying away the play space
- Attending staff meetings, appraisals and training courses as part of required CPD.

We are looking for individuals who have:

- Previous experience working with children (1+ years)
- Relevant training e.g First Aid, Food Hygiene, Infection Control etc.
- Strong teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

£11.35 p/h available for those who hold SVQ 3 in Playwork, Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or Social Services (Children and Young People) or other relevant qualification such as an HNC in Childcare.
