Childcare Playworker

Role: Kidsize Out of School Club Practitioner

Location: Kingswells, Aberdeen AB158TG

Hours: 2 - 13.5 p/w

We are looking to hire for the following shifts:
7:15am-9:15am - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 3pm - 5:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Pay: £9.50 p/h (unqualified) £10.50 (qualified)

What the role includes:

- Working alongside practitioners at the club to prepare and deliver quality play opportunities and contribute to daily running of the out of school club.
- Dropping off and picking up children from school.
- Following policies and procedures to acheive best practice.
- Developing and maintaining good communication with service users and other multi-agencies.
- Attending staff meetings, appraisals and training courses as part of required CPD.

We are looking for individuals who have:

- Previous experience working with children (1+ years)
- Relevant training e.g First Aid, Food Hygeine, Infection Control etc.
- Strong teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

£10.50 p/h available for those who hold SVQ 3 in Playwork, Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or Social Services (Children and Young People) or other relevant qualification such as an HNC in Childcare.
