Logistics Coordinator

I am currently representing a leading global manufacturer of permanent magnets and precision metals. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work in their manufacturing facility. In addition to a forklift license, you will havethe following responsibilities:
- Ensure goods are booked in and processed in a timely and accurate manner (goods receipting and kit issuing)
- Support the Logistics & Prep Team Leader to manage and lead logistics, prep and trade teams (including some slow-moving product lines) with workload management, prioritisation and daily execution of tasks
- Manage any shipment documentation specifically required by customer or courier or internal audit purposes (e.g., ATR’s, UPS paperless invoicing). Ensure all external shipments to customers and subcontractors are done in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure stock accuracy is kept above target of 99.9% through daily cycle counts and accurate issuing of stock to jobs. Ensure job receipting is carried out using the correct procedure to guarantee cost and inventory levels are correct within the ERP system(Syteline).
- To develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues throughout the Company, clients and suppliers
- Manage and control internal requisitions, issuing tooling, consumables and replacement material in a timely manner.
- Release and creation of job orders in accordance to standard WIP limits via the planner workbench on Syteline. Also, the generation of free issue component purchased orders and send on to customer
- Executing the scrap and waste materials procedure
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies. Support lean initiatives and promote continuous improvement.
- To share both knowledge and experience with other team members
- To provide support and assistance to the line manager as appropriate
- Experience working with ERP Systems is highly desirable
