Key Responsibilities:

- **Meal Preparation**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of ready meals using pre-cooked meats.
- Follow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Portion and package meals accurately, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to portion control standards.
- **Food Safety and Hygiene**:

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
- Properly store ingredients and finished products to prevent contamination and spoilage.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels of cooked meats and other ingredients, and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of inventory, ensuring freshness and quality of products.
- Minimize waste by efficiently using ingredients and adhering to inventory rotation practices.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Assist in training new employees on department procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

- **Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a food preparation or culinary role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is essential.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Basic math skills for measuring and portioning ingredients.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for handling kitchen equipment and packaging.

Working Conditions:

- May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on department needs.
