**Chair of the Board of Trustees**
We are seeking to appoint a new Chair of the Board of Trustees who is skilled in developing collaborative, values-driven boards and cultures. Our new Chair will be respectful of our successful history, whilst bringing constructive challenge, fresh ideas and creative thinking. They will be compassionate, collaborative and visionary, able to galvanise our dedicated Board and provide strategic support to our Chief Executive and leadership team.
Alongside extensive senior leadership experience, you will bring a strong understanding of modern board leadership, have a proven track record of strategic thinking and innovation and be commercially aware.
It is crucial that our new Chair is a confident and credible ambassador, able to forge strong relationships across the sector and represent the hospice externally when appropriate. System leadership experience and/or knowledge of the wider healthcare system would be an additional advantage.
You will demonstrate a deep and genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion, and in reaching underserved and overlooked communities.
Above all, you will be intrinsically values-driven, compassionate, and committed to the vision and mission of the Hospice.
