A Worcestershire based, established and growing pet food business is recruiting a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain team in Redditch. This is an exciting time to join the business as it is undergoing a high level of growth both within the UK and internationally.

In this role you will be critical to the Supply Chain function as you will analyse

Market and sales trends and then deliver a forecast of all stock requirements for sales within the UK and internationally.

As a Supply Chain Planner you will be responsible for:

- Monthly sales and inventory analysis leading to an accurate forecasting and the subsequent ordering of stock to ensure the business are able to satisfy demand.
- You will monitor inventory levels within the UK and with international logistics partners. You will work with suppliers to ensure they are able to produce and deliver goods to these locations.
- Sales tracking, both for the business and customers going back up to 12 months in order to enable better sales forecasts.
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure they are fully aware of volumes.
- Preparation of reports and any other documentation required.
- Use a variety of systems to generate reports for internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers.

To be successful within the role of Supply Chain Planner you will have:

- Proven experience of working within Supply Chain function within the food industry within a planning role.
- Customer service experience.
- Experienced in the use of a range of computer systems, ideally SAP.
- The business uses Microsoft Microsoft Excel. You will need to be proficient in performing tasks such as Pivot Tables.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into real work scenarios.
- Natural communication skills as building relationships with members from other teams is critical to perform your duties well.
