Join us as our Onboarding Lead
- Day-to-day, you'll lead all aspects of the Onboarding function for Mettle, our small and medium enterprise banking propositions and NW Boxed, our UK Banking as a Service proposition
- Thrive in a role that'll have you working in partnership with Product, Risk and Marketing teams to deliver customer business acquisitions objectives and making a far-reaching impact through your work

**What you'll do**:
As our Onboarding Lead, you'll deliver all activities in line with approved procedures and targets to use resources optimally, reduce costs and increase productivity. With your expert people management skills, you'll make sure your unit manages operational escalations, disputes and risks.

Harnessing innovative and technology-led approaches to provide an industry leading customer experience cost to serve rates, you'll lead process reengineering and automation initiatives in partnership with Product and Risk to maximise efficiency gains, while collaborating with support functions.

Additionally, we'll look to you to:

- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, while acting as a point of contact for all aspects of NW Boxed onboarding
- Make sure you, your colleagues and our business thrives by delivering consistent high performance
- Take risks and use your knowledge of anti-financial crime, technology and innovation to improve our customer experiences
- Find ways to reduce the cost to serve
- Measure daily tasks through a commercially sustainable lens to enhance our performance and help us to onboard customers quickly and safely

**The skills you'll need**:
We'll need you to have a broad knowledge of financial crime regulations and Agile principles and experience of working in an Agile manner. Alongside this, you'll have an understanding of operational management, preferably in relation to financial crime.

Not only will you need a background of working in a rapidly scaling business, but you'll have significant people management experience with the ability to drive strategies and support plans to improve engagement and employee wellbeing.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

- A track record of senior stakeholder management
- Experience of managing a fraud, AML or CTF operation
- Knowledge of AML and due diligence regulation to enable intelligent risk decisions that balance client and customer acquisition objectives
- Great people leadership skills that can nurture a culture of high performance and development opportunities to unlock your colleagues' potential
