**This is the job**:
Joining The AA as a Digital Content Designer (UX Writer), you’ll take responsibility for content design, translating user needs, business objectives, and technical capabilities into world-class digital experiences. Collaborating closely with our designers and product teams, you’ll be instrumental in making our customer journeys easy to find and use.

You’ll be an enthusiastic and experienced content designer, a confident copywriter, editor, and content producer who loves digital content and can spot a typo at 20 paces. Whether you’re writing for the app, website or a chatbot you’ll deliver brilliant, on-brand content that engages and delights.

We’re looking for a strong storyteller with the ability to bring together a wide range of stakeholders and align on a solution that meets both the current and future needs of the business utilising your data-led decision making skills.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Work collaboratively with the wider design team, including UI/UX designers, to design user-focused content and seamless customer journeys
- Write and edit copy in line with our brand, tone of voice and house style guidelines and our content strategy
- Work across multiple projects, using your knowledge to develop outstanding content across all digital channels
- Build and edit content pages in the Sitecore CMS
- Present content to stakeholders, incorporate feedback and be an advocate for our content principles
- Test and monitor the performance of content and identify ways to iteratively improve it
- Understand users, who they are and what their needs are based on quantitative and qualitative evidence; carry out user research to inform content decisions

**What do I need?**:

- Strong working experience as a content designer/UX writer, creating and managing content for websites and/or apps which are mobile-first and optimised for search engines
- Excellent written and verbal communication and a meticulous attention to detail when proofreading your own or another content designer’s work
- A good understanding of SEO, as well as keyword research and implementing SEO recommendations
- Conversant in **Sitecore** CMS or equivalent CMS
- Experience of using **Figma** or similar content design tools
- Familiar with working in agile/scrum environments and cross-functional teams
- Experience of working with **JIRA** or similar workflow tools
- Experience using **Google Analytics** and **Quantum Metrics** or similar tools to inform and improve content and conversion
- Some experience of editing basic code, such as **HTML**
