Accounts Assistant/property Administrator

My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant Property/Administrator to work in their Asset Management team in their Shrewsbury Office. You will need to have excellent communication skills, be confident talking to people on the phone and relevant IT skills.
Experience of working in property would be an advantage but a willingness to learn new skills is essential.
**Tasks to include;**
- Credit Control - collection of arrears
- Managing changes in tenancies and renewals
- Issuing rent demands and invoices
- Bank reconciliations and payment allocation
- Recharging - assisting the Property Managers in the recharging of insurance and utilities
- Liaising with the Property Managers
- Effective communication with tenants
- Managing Tenant receipts
- Using various computer packages - Re-Leased (training will be given) Word, Excel,
**Person specification;**
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- Have experience of working in an accounts environment - experience of property accounts would be an advantage but not essential
- Have good administrative and numerical skills with precise attention to detail
- Possess a good knowledge of Microsoft office packages
- Have good communication skills both written and verbal with a confident telephone manner
- Accuracy & good attention to detail
- An ability to stay calm & tactful under pressure
- Helpful and reliable personality
