**The Company & Role**:
David Phillips Group has a 22 year, expansive understanding of the UK property market.

We have greatly expanded our range of services and can now provide anything from a single armchair for a landlord or property manager to a bespoke interior design scheme.

Part of a large design studio within the Group, our Rental and Show Home department (dress for sale) is a fast growing and integral part of our business, always working on a varied number of high profile and interesting projects.

We are looking foran enthusiastic, well-presented, organised and creative individual to join our friendly and fun Rental and Show Home team, as a Senior designer.

The role will be split between our office in Holborn, warehouse in East London, and at the properties and show homes we stage throughout London and the Home Counties.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Equivalent in Interior Design
- Proficient at working with Excel
- To be proficient at Indesign, Photoshop and AutoCAD
- Confident with moodboards and digital presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to space plan from a floor plan.
- A confident team player, with excellent communication skills for both internal and client related matters.
- Presentation and client facing experience.
- Personable, with a passion for interiors.
- Driving License preferable

**Duties & detail**:

- Managing projects from conception to completion for primarily the Rental department, and Show Home services when required.
- To deal with live issues and to use experience to problem solve with creative solutions.
- Providing mentor support to junior members of the design team.
- Attend site visits, review layout drawings and update
- Safeguard design output through review of work to maintain internal design standards and brief requirements have been met. Keeping in mind GM% when design costings are provided.
- Day-to-day design administration and communication internally and externally.
- Budgeting, sourcing and ordering of accessories (online and in-stores).
- Style and dress projects to an excellent standard.
- To lead on significant projects, with delegated support from the team if required.
- Produce detailed design concepts, proposals, mood boards and 2D floor plans.
- Keeping up to date with industry news and the changing marketplace; bringing this knowledge into the team and the work to ensure we are always exceeding clients expectations.

**Working Relationships**:
Effective working relationships are an essential part of daily working life.

The focus in this role is both:

- **Internal**:Colleagues within the design departments, business development operations, warehouse & deliverable teams, the principle directors of the Company.
- **External**:Suppliers, agents, developers, landlords and private clients.

**Reporting to**:Tali Leggett (Design Director - Rental & Show Homes)

**Location**:
Holborn, Beckton, and site visits around the UK.

**The Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.

**Holiday days per annum**:
25 day’s holiday per annum.
