The post holder will be involved in providing NMP, DRP and RS services to Clinical departments, including Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, as well as private Dental and Veterinary customers across the SEND area. The department actively encourages staff training and development and is an accredited training centre for the NSHCS training scheme for the STP and HSST schemes. The department also employs Clinical Technologist apprentices on the PTP scheme, and all staff are involved in providing training and the supervision of trainees. Staff are also involved in the continued development and improvement of the service and are encouraged to challenge and question the way things are done with the aim of providing a service which can be described as best in class.
