Electrical Project Coordinator

About the role.
Duties.
- Assessing requirements for the project in terms of scope, timescales, access and materials
- Procurement and control of the correct and necessary materials to the relevant tasks including regular stock take and storage
- Coordinating the contractors and any possible team members involved to always ensure smooth operations with minimum disruption
- Ensure contractors are following up to date regulations and are working to Mitie's safe systems of work (SSOW)
- Identify isolation points and assist in carrying out safe isolations as and where required
- Identify where essential equipment may require back-up power and assist in providing this as necessary
- Ensure necessary safety documents are in place where required - RAMS, PTW, etc
- Creating and controlling a schedule for works and communicating the proposed schedule well in advance
- Create a clear communication process throughout the project, build and maintain a good relationship with SEF FM's and stakeholders
- Managing the budget for the specific projects with support from the line manager
- Keeping records and documents pertaining to each task, highlighting where updating is required
- Creative decision making and strategic planning to combine preventative maintenance with projects where possible
- Snagging
- Reporting to line manager on a regular basis to update progress of works and highlight any issues or risks
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within the budgeted scope
- Attend relevant meetings to update Line Manager and Senior Project Manager on overall status of LTM project i.e. budget updating, value of works delivered
- Update CAFM system as required (Concept)
- Identify and report any hazards as necessary
- Waste control relevant to the tasks
- You will be required to join the on-call rota as part of this role

- Have an alternate plan to justify the expectations of the clients

- Be willing to progress to LV Authorised Person
