Your new role

ASEND is looking for a teaching assistant to support an 11 year old autistic boy at his home in Stanford-Le-Hope, alongside his current tutor. Playing computer and video games with him is very important to help build a relationship and be the way to progresshis learning; gaming is a major interest of this young person. This is an opportunity to really make a difference in his life; allowing him to become even more independent and grow as a person.

This role is part time and an immediate start is available. The work is between now and the end of the school year, days and times can be flexible. There may also be time to work with him over the Summer holidays and continue in September.
- Has supported autistic children before.
- Is committed to overcoming barriers to learning.
- Ideally has an interest in computers and gaming (this is a bonus).
