**Job description**

An elderly gentleman living at home in Yetholm is looking for a companion. The hours are to

support the gentleman, so that his wife can get a break. The hours could be up to ten hours

per week but this is to be mutually agreed between employee and employer. Hours will be in

blocks. Days and times are to be agreed but ideally the employer would like some of the

hours to be used on a couple of Saturdays out the month.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**
- Personal care including continence care
- Meal preparation
- Companionship

**Hours of work
- Hours are to be ten hours per week, Hours and days are flexible and are to be

mutually agreed by the employer and employee.

**The terms
**- £11.50 per hour
- 5.6 weeks holiday calculated on a pro-rata basis
