An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Machinist to join Rolls-Royce Submarines.

Machinists play a key role in setting machines, performing machine operations on unique materials and inspecting components to drawing requirements for both manual and CNC machining activities.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will be responsible to check that finished components meet quality standards/drawing requirements.
- Able to read and interpret manufacturing engineering drawings, technical instructions and written specifications.
- Maintains equipment and ensures all tools are in calibration. - Follows all nuclear, fire and conventional health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Works closely with manufacturing engineering on design and manufacturability issues.
- Deliver right first-time quality for each operation and also sets up and operates conventional and CNC plant and equipment according to job provided.

- Experience operating WFL or HERMLE CNC machines on Siemens Sinumerik 840D sl operating system would be advantageous, also experience in programming and NPI.
