**Marketing Executive**

**Newport**

**Hybrid working once you have passed the probation period (6 Months)**

**Role/Job Purpose**
- To effectively deliver the marketing function and senior members of the marketing team in the delivery of the firm’s strategic and tactical marketing plan.

**Role Requirements**

**Digital Marketing**
- Contribute to the roll-out of the firm’s digital marketing strategy, including managing the day-to-day scheduling, content creation and monitoring of the firm’s social media channels (with support from senior members of the team)
- Identify content and marketing opportunities via daily online/newsletter/newspaper research and liaise with senior marketing staff/ relevant departmental heads to determine course of action and undertake any relevant steps to publish comments/articles onthe firm’s own digital platforms.
- Monitor all digital communications and to ensure the firm’s brand and reputation is protected at all times
- Maintain, update and contribute to the content on the firm’s website and ensure it is kept updated and relevant to the firm’s ongoing digital marketing strategy
- Manage all online reviews, with support from senior team members, and respond to all reviews accordingly
- Execution of paid social media advertising campaigns and Google adverts
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools
- Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date

**Design**
- Design relevant digital and print marketing collateral for all departments within the firm, ensuring brand consistency is achieved at all times.

**Marketing Literature**
- Liaise with the senior members of the marketing team and relevant suppliers to create and maintain all marketing literature across the firm, including design, editing, production and print of leaflets, brochures, posters, external print ads etc, ensuringbrand consistency at all times.
- Keep records of all firm-wide literature, including office materials and advertising materials
- Liaise with suppliers in the production of branded merchandise

**Media Relations**
- Support senior members of the marketing team in the delivery of the firm’s PR plan, identifying opportunities, liaising with photographers and making any necessary arrangements with team members
- Write press releases, liaise with families for comments.

**Events/Hospitality**
- Work alongside senior members of the marketing team to assist in planning and delivering internal and external events, including business networking, internal staff events and client events

**Advertising/Sponsorship**
- Work with external agencies in the production of relevant advertising which will include professional and information directories Support senior members of the marketing team in identifying and making recommendations on wider external advertising opportunities.
- Identify and make recommendations on sponsorship opportunities for the firm

**Internal Communications**
- Set up and manage internal communications programme, to include content for the intranet, monthly internal updates and creation of a monthly newsletter

**Reporting**
- Produce relevant reports on a monthly/quarterly/ad hoc basis as requested by senior members of the marketing team, specifically relating to the firms’ digital performance.

**Planning & Organisation**
- Work alongside senior members of the marketing team in the planning and organisation of the various projects across the firm, including meeting with heads of department and senior board members

**Other Duties**
- Regularly liaises with the firms Head of Compliance to ensure that all internal and external marketing literature etc meets all regulatory requirements
- Provide administrative support to other members of the marketing team as required
- Update the marketing and other databases for direct mail campaigns
- Undertake any other reasonable requests from members of the marketing team which will aid their role within the Marketing Department.
- Delivery of integrated campaigns.
- Meet, diarise, plan and deliver all necessary collateral.
- Brand management - Your lawyers for life - social, organic and paid
- Content creation - blogs, graphics, infographics, videos and podcasts

**Person Specification**
- A minimum of 3 years’ professional digital marketing experience
- Highly IT-literate with skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage social media platforms & website CMS effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience in using marketing software packages and systems, such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Self-motivated team player
- Able to prioritise and manage own workloads effectively
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Skilled in developing relationships, particularly with internal colleagues
- Confident in communicating with senior staff and stakeholders
- The ability and desire to contribute your own ideas to the team and senior staff
- An ability to use initiative to find solutions.
