Fortem People are recruiting for a **Junior Document Controller** to join an established and growing organisation in Bradford. Great development opportunities are present within this design, install and servicing business.

**Salary £22k to £25k. Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5pm.**

Working at the heart of the company's design team, you will assist in the collaboration between internal departments and external common data environments. You will also assist the Drawing Office Manager on a variety of day to day tasks.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Quality and compliance checks on documents.
- Filing and organisation of documents (both electronically and/or hardcopies).
- Control over documentation modification, distribution, issuance during its whole lifecycle.
- Distribution of documents to relevant people/organisations using the specified online CDE’s (Common Data Environments).
- First line contact in case of escalation of a document control related issue.
- Development and implementation of system and processes.
- Support the Design department and assist in establishing best practice.
- Interface and communicate with other dep’s. including sales and project management.
- Assist with general administration duties as and when required.
- Monitor incoming print requests, action and post.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities that may be reasonably expected within the nature of the post on an ad-hoc basis.

**Key Requirements**:

- A keen eye for detail is essential
- The ability to work within tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Experience within a construction type discipline would be beneficial
- Strong IT skills, including Excel and the ability to learn internal systems quickly
- Previous administration experience within a design environment would be beneficial
