**Education & professional Qualifications**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology
- Health Psychology or Clinical Psychology component to degree, or subsequent qualifications
**Desirable criteria**:
- Further post graduate training in relevant areas of professional psychology, and/or research and design and analysis
**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:
- An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with persistent pain
- Experience using computers and software packages for database or data analysis
- Experience of research and / or audit and /or project management
**Desirable criteria**:
- An understanding of psychology applied to healthcare
- Experience of working with people with persistent pain, in a paid or voluntary capacity
- Experience of contributing to psychological assessments
- Experience of implementing psychological or psychologically-informed interventions
- Experience working in a team with other health professionals e.g. Psychologist, Physiotherapist
