We are a prestigious Scottish Castle Hotel nestled in the heart of Dornoch, renowned for our luxury accommodations, impeccable service, and rich history dating back centuries. As a beacon of Scottish hospitality, we strive to offer our guests an unforgettable experience steeped in tradition and charm. In the hotel grounds lies the well known Dornoch Distillery, producing award winning gin & single malt whisky.

**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking night staff to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel during the night hours. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the premises and provide assistance to guests as needed.

The current rota works on a week on - week off basis, however this can be discussed at interview.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests throughout the night.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, and respond promptly to any security concerns or incidents.
- Assist late arriving guests with check-in procedures and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, striving to exceed guest expectations.
- Prepare and serve light refreshments to guests upon request.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in public areas, including the bar, public areas, and restrooms.
- Perform light maintenance tasks and troubleshoot minor issues as they arise.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel staff and departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions, particularly during overnight shifts.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A proactive and reliable attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
