About Us: Dornoch Distillery was born out of a successful crowdfunding campaign, driven by the philosophy of bringing old-style distillation techniques back to life. Our founders, brothers Phil and Simon Thompson, established one of the world’s leading whisky bars in Dornoch before venturing into distillation. Since 2017, we’ve crafted and laid down over 700 casks of Dornoch New Make Spirit, while also releasing independent bottlings of rum and Scotch Whisky, World Whisky and Brandy. Our Organic Mediterranean Gin has won multiple awards and is exported, alongside our independent spirits and blends, to over 12 international markets.

As a Distiller at Dornoch Distillery, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our distillery daily. Production: Hands-on physical involvement in whisky and gin production, from mashing, distillation, casking, blending and warehousing
# Quality Control: Ensuring the highest quality standards for our spirits.
# Exploring novel production techniques and contributing to experimental projects.
# Participating in distillery tours and engaging with visitors.
# Brewing and Distilling Background: Ideally, you have a Master’s degree in Brewing or Brewing and Distilling or relevant experience.
A deep appreciation for traditional and innovative whisky production.
