This is a key role leading Inner London's children and young people's community health services in both Camden and BiBorough. We work in close collaboration with our local authority partners and other providers in our places, and services are integrated both strategically and operationally at the point of delivery. You will be visible and accessible, and understand the need to maintain and where necessary improve performance, bringing colleagues with you. As a key leader you will be accountable for the safe and effective delivery of services, ensuring that services continue to improve in collaboration with all stakeholders.

The Role

We are keen to recruit a dynamic and experienced senior operational manager with experience of working with a range of stakeholders in a fast paced and changing environment.

You should have significant experience of working in a variety of health care settings and managing high quality effective services as well as an understanding and experience of children’s community services and developments within the NHS. You will need to have energy, drive and ambition to manage across a our places, and be able to both work autonomously and also in partnership with key stakeholders, internal and external.

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, is pleased to have a long standing delivery of community children's services within both Camden and BiBorough. We plan and deliver in partnership with other providers, the ICBs, the local authorities, and other stakeholders.

To lead the management and integration of CYP and family services in the Inner London boroughs of Camden and BiBorough, where we provide both universal and and specialist services, ensuring effective joined up pathways with key partners including Local Authorities, NCL and NWL.

To be accountable for the delivery of Universal Health Services including Health Visiting, School Nursing, Looked after Children and Safeguarding.

To be accountable for the delivery of Targeted and specialist Health Services including MOSAIC, and to lead the partnership that is Camden Integrated Children's Service, including its performance and governance.

To ensure efficient and response administrative services are in place across them borough to support front-line delivery and respond to service and family needs.

To assume overall oversight of the delivery of services across organisational boundaries, where relevant, and disciplines, both clinical and non-clinical, ensuring that individual staff performance, appraisal and development is robustly undertaken to optimise both individual and organisational performance and that all staff have
access to continuing professional education and development to maximise performance through both dotted and solid line reporting structures

To develop a range of mechanisms to grow talent
and develop individuals throughout Inner London CYP services, including focusing on welcoming, induction and retaining the best staff.
