**Job overview**:
Are you interested in supporting the work of the Salford Community Adult Speech and Language Therapists as they help patients under their care with their Speech and Language Therapy needs?

We are looking for someone to come and work in our team to support to the Community Adult Speech and Language team. This role is 27.5 hours a week.

**Main duties of the job**:

- You will need to be a kind and enthusiastic individual who enjoys a varied workload where no two days are the same.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential for dealing with a varied and busy workload.
- As part of the role, you will be arranging clinics for patients in a variety of locations and assisting with other administrative duties as required.
- You will be working with the team to order supplies/equipment and support with any queries from patients or other professionals.

- Must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
- Excellent written communication skills
- Audio Dictation
- Excellent verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and mange time effectively
- Ability to be an effective team member.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, and without close supervision.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the need to maintain a strict level of confidentiality with respect to clients and staff.
- Flexible approach to work
- Basic IT skills
- To demonstrate an awareness and understanding of supporting equality and valuing diversity within their role
