**About the Role**

The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit a Care Cleaning Supervisor who is required to carry o ut cleaning duties at Bowgreave Rise Home for the Elderly.

The Facilities Management team is responsible for a large group of Care Homes across Lancashire. These buildings provide essential services to the community and vulnerable people.

Lancashire County Council have completed works on a brand new, purpose built, residential care home at the current Bowgreave Rise site on Garstang Road. The building is set out over 3 floors, with 45 en-suite bedrooms, 5 lounge/ dining rooms and family seating areas. To maintain high standards, Lancashire County Council have fitted hard flooring throughout much of the building and purchased new equipment to enable effective cleaning for our Domestic team.

High standards of clean lines s are expected, and prior experience is desirable. F ull training and ongoing support will be provided.

This role requires you to lead a small team, ensuring all work areas are clean across the site, conducting induction and training for new staff and undertaking internal audits. The role involves some straightforward administrative tasks such as reporting of holidays and sickness, as being the first point of contact between both the client and A rea C oordinator. Cleaning duties will consist of general cleaning, such as damp wiping, damp mopping, toilet cleaning, decontamination cleans and use of cleaning equipment such as a scrubber drier and carpet cleaner.
