**Business Development Executive**
**Location**:Swindon, SN5 7FP
**Salary**: £26,000 + Commission
**Contract**: Full time, Permanent
**Hours**: 08:00 - 4:00pm Monday to Friday

**Business Development Executive - About the role**:
Joining our close-knit sales team, you’ll not only be responsible for finding new business of your own but you’ll be the first point of contact for leads provided by our research team. You’ll use your tenacious spirit to build rapport and credibility at pace,ready to pass over a list of introduction meetings for our Project Directors to progress.
**In addition to this you will also be responsible**:

- Responsible for updating our CRM to help inform day-to-day commercial decision making.
- following up on leads and generating potential partnership opportunities
- Connect and nurture leads into warm prospects
**In order to be successful, it is essential that you have**:

- **Strong communication skills**: The ability to communicate with prospects and clients is crucial for this role to clearly and effectively communicate complex information, and explain the value of their products or services.
- **Persuasion and negotiation skills**: You need to be able to persuade and negotiate with prospects and customers to nurture leads.
- **A high-level of IT literacy**: a competent user of Office 365 and familiar with using social media in a B2B context. Previous experience using CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics / Pipedrive is desirable.
- **Research Skills**: You should be skilled at desk-based research and using digital tools to uncover new leads or progress existing leads.
- **Time management Skills**: You need to be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets
- **Strategic thinking**: You should be able to think strategically to identify and capitalise on opportunities, and develop long-term relationships with clients.
- **Resilient**: You should be persistent and skilled at overcoming objections and finding the best way to nurture any given lead.
- **Market Knowledge**: Knowledge of the fit-out / construction market is desirable but not essential.
