**SUMMARY**:

- Head up Strategy for Revenue across the Portfolio.
- Responsible for best practice standards to include; competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modelling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts.

**CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**:

**Revenue**:

- Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practice
- Work to identify new revenue opportunities
- Optimise and expand distribution partnerships
- Challenge and lead your revenue teams to deliver growth
- Oversee the day-to-day revenue management of the portfolio
- Ensure competitive benchmark studies are undertaken and market trends followed
- Create and maintain a rolling demand calendar
- Provide a weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons
- Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution
- Responsible for assessing, analysing and pricing group business strategies
- Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity
- Liaise with Head of Commercial services to ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional
- Regularly check the input and the quality of data (segmentation,
denials tracking, etc ) points
- Conduct quarterly property performance reviews and develop strategic and tactical actions to support properties
- Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc )
- Reduce the cost of distribution by finding new less expensive means of delivering business.
- Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process for hotels

**Analytics**:

- Review the daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting and share with the wider team
- Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies
- Carry out analytical review of hotel data across rooms, FB and other revenue streams to assist with forward planning of strategic changes to hotel inventory as required by Regional or HO Directors
- Be a point of excellence for any revenue analysis needed by individual hotels and assist with training in data analysis for on site teams as required
- Review monthly PL performance across the estate and develop data analysis to best monitor progression towards budgets and forecasts

**ADDITIONAL NOTES ON ROLE**:

- Work closely with the head of commercial services to ensure all revenue strategies are in line with appropriate channels and distribution
- Work closely with head of marketing to ensure all campaigns across the estate are appropriate and meet the needs of the strategy for individual properties
