**Recycling Operative**

Location: Sheffield, UK

Position: Full-Time Recycling Operative

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am - 4 pm but hours can vary

Are you passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment? Join our team as a Recycling Operator in Sheffield We are seeking a dedicated individual who is committed to assisting members of the public in the responsible disposal of household waste.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist and guide members of the public in the proper disposal of household waste materials within the recycling centre.
- Ensure adherence to recycling guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Sort and segregate recyclable materials efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment within the recycling facility.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and concerns in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve recycling targets and operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Passion for environmental sustainability and recycling initiatives.
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact courteously with the public.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to varying shifts as needed.
- Physical capability to handle and lift moderate weights.
- Previous experience in waste management or recycling operations is advantageous but not essential.
