Are you a skilled Maintenance Operative looking for a rewarding role? We have an exciting opportunity for you

**Role**: Maintenance Operative
**Location**:Midlands region
**Hours**:Various hours required. 40 hours across Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work.
**Salary**: £35,000 per annum

**What does this role involve?**
- Leading and managing a small team
- Execute planned and reactive building maintenance tasks.
- Handle general building, joinery, tiling, painting, paving, external works, drainage, and plumbing.
- Perform planned preventative building maintenance according to schedules.
- Manage maintenance and refurbishment projects for nursery setting properties.
- Prioritize workload to complete repairs within KPI/SLA timescales.
- Record work and related expenditure using relevant IT systems.
- Maintain vehicle records and keep vehicles in a clean, tidy, and secure condition.
- Adhere to health and safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and communicate effectively with nursery managers/facilities helpdesk.

**What skills do you need?**
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience managing a small team
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Minimum 2 years experience in a building trade or property maintenance role
- Strong communication skills
- IT competence
