**Client Details**

**Description**

The successful Senior Accounts Payable will:

- Responsible for accurately coding and distributing supplier invoices for authorisation and inputting them into the accounting system.
- Updating the daily bank schedule.
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve any queries and reconciling supplier statements to the accounts.
- Assisting with further expense related tasks including coding, distributing and posting monthly credit card statements; reconciling and posting both stores' and Head Office petty cash; and posting staff expenses into the accounting system.
- Preparing the weekly BACS run and foreign payment run for review with the Director.
- Responsible for weekly checking and posting of sales and takings; liaising with store staff to resolve any queries.
- Maintain payment schedule with purchase order details.
- Assisting with year-end files for the annual audit.
- Supporting the running & organisation of the office with ad hoc duties.
- Assisting/cover for Senior Accounts Assistant where applicable.

**Profile**

The successful Senior Accounts Payable will:

- Have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- MUST be studying towards the ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Have previous experience working in a Finance team within a luxury retail company
- Have prior experience using the finance system SAP (highly desirable)
- Previous experience dealing with a high volume of transactions
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
