Join Daiichi Sankyo UK as Business Analytics Translator and act as the link between our commercial business objectives and the core tech and analytical capabilities our Advanced Analytics team is building. You draw on your domain expertise to help commercial business to identify and prioritize business problems, which will create the highest value when solved. Success means for you that deep insights generated through advanced analytics translate into impact at scale: You identify required business/customer data needed to produce most useful insights and ensure solutions solve our business problems in an efficient and easy to interpret for business users.

You're known for presenting complex analytics-derived insights into easy-to-understand and actionable recommendations for commercial business. You're engagement goes beyond facilitating informed-decision making; you drive implementation/deployment of digital content, solutions and services and ensure that we execute on insights. You empower others to fail, learn and grow and aren't afraid to roll-up your sleeves. **Tasks**:

- Act as spokesperson of complex (analytical) problems between Local organisation Leadership, Marketing, Data Scientists and Engineers. You drive and prepare actions on all data, analytics and performance topics by bridging technical expertise with operational expertise/commercial business.
- Act as Local Advanced Analytics Product Owner by becoming the primary liaison between the campaign/product owners, the local data stewards, data scientists and data engineers ensuring that relevant data is prepared for solving business questions Support and consult the local organisation to collect, refine and prioritize business hypothesis and any new developments
- Translate, educate and actively communicate data science results to the local organisation
- Collaborate with Data Scientists & Engineers and IT to ensure models are developed and updated according to business requirements and that they are integrated to other components in an appropriate way.
- Actively conduct new analysis to enhance the foundation for data-driven, best-in class customer experience, e.g. improve omnichannel performance through increasingly personalized campaigns and higher segmentation accuracy.
- Identify ways to capture new data (e.g., CRM, sensors), clear organizational hurdles to gain access to data and forge partnerships with 3rd party data providers
- Supports campaign/product owners and data scientists in defining and implementing campaign/tactic/platform specific KPIs and performance tracking metrics.

**Profile**:

- University degree in Technology or Innovation Management, Information Design, Business Informatics, STEM or comparable degree
- Experience in e-commerce, digital (management) consultancy, digital pharma unit, start-up, tech company or a comparable digital unit/workplace
- Comfortable with conducting (exploratory) data analyses self-service BI tools, ideally also basic experience with Python/R
- Strong acumen in quantitative analytics and structured problem solving
- Overview of common machine learning techniques (Categorical Encoding, Random Forest, Decision Trees) and technologies commonly used (Database and Data Modelling concepts, Deployment tools (e.g. Cloud))
- Experience working with teams in an AGILE setting as Product Owner incl. facilitation of cross-departmental exchanges, managing a backlog/release plan and stakeholder management etc.
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex messages, manage expectations and trade offs to various business stakeholders
- Strong problem solver with ability to push the solution and progress
- High level of commitment, collaboration and an integrative personality
- Excellent language proficiency in English (at least C1)
- International work experience
