**About The Role**:

PETA Ltd are supporting a leading fire door manufacturer, Southern Fire Doors Ltd, in the recruitment and training of a Estimating Administrator Apprentice. There are excellent progression routes available for the right applicant upon completion of the apprenticeship. Potential future roles include progression to Office Manager or Estimating Manager.

**Training to be provided**:
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15 month apprenticeship which includes 10 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

**About the role**:
The Estimating Administrator Apprentice will have the following duties and responsibilities:

- Learning to use the quotation system
- Quoting tenders
- Taking telephone enquiries and quoting as required
- Passing enquiries to Managing Director / Sales Director
- Taking messages as required for other staff members
- Filing and archiving job quotes
- Liasing with Workshop Manager
- Dealing with general enquiries

- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
- Please note that the office is not easily accessible via public transport.

**Essential skills**

As this is an apprenticeship, no prior experience is required However, applicants should have:

- Strong levels of maths, English and IT
- Strong communication skills
- A positive attitude
- The want to learn and progress
- GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade 4/C are required.
