Logistics Route Planner
Location: Wednesbury

**Salary**: £26000 - 28000
We have an amazing opportunity for a Logistics Route Planner within a busy and expanding company in the Wednesbury area.
**Logistics Route Planner's duties and responsibilities**:

- Manifesting Trailers/Advising head office of deliveries (special/next days) Trailers are planned day 1 for shipping day 2 from the transport notes.
- Liaising with customs, re manifests/sorting customs issues with customers, Managing Customs Deadlines
- Requesting GMRs/Movement Reference Numbers from external customs agents
- As this is a split role half of your time would be spent in the planning department. Assisting with the planning of groupage multidrop/multi delivery bookings.
- Assisting in planning the daily collections on our own fleet of vehicles as well as a selection of Subbies.

**Logistics Route Planner's set of skills required**:

- Groupage / Pallet Planning IS A **MUST**.
- A knowledge of UK customs declarations is a **MUST**:

- Driver Debriefing
- Compliance Knowledge
- Tachograph / Driver Hours Knowledge
- Motivation and a willingness to learn and progress
- Dynamism and ability to adapt and manage day to day business needs
- A good understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft packages

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 10:00 - 18:30
