This exciting opportunity will involve the provision of secretarial and administrative support to 3 clinical Leads within Salisbury Hospice. They will work within the administrative team supporting 2 Consultants and the Hospital/Community Clinical Lead, as well as the Wider Palliative care team. They will be required to follow established procedures and work under supervision but use their own initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their own work.

The person will work closely with two Consultants and the Hospital/Community Team lead, liaising regularly to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service. They will be responsible for typing letters and documents, dealing with referrals in a timely and accurate manner, amalgamating Hospital notes and records and the coordination of the M&M Meeting and MDT Meetings. This person will be working in a team, alongside other administrators and will be involved in answering telephone calls from patients, relatives and Health care Professionals. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to contribute to the valuable work that the Specialist Palliative team deliver, sharing their own skills with us or for someone who would like to learn more and to develop their own skills and experience over a variety of office, secretarial and administrative tasks.
