Area Sales Manager - Windows & Doors

Title: Area Sales Manager - Windows & Doors

Industry Sector: Double Glazing Companies, Regional Housebuilders, New Build, uPVC, Aluminium, Fenestration, Composite Doors, Bi-fold Doors, Patio Doors and Windows

Area to be covered: Midlands

Remuneration: £30,000-£40,000 + £10,000 Bonus

Benefits: £500 Car Allowance or Hybrid Fully expensed car + full benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Windows & Doors will involve:

- Technical field sales role promoting a portfolio of aluminium and uPVC windows and doors
- Promoting a portfolio that includes windows, composite doors, bi-fold doors, patio doors etc.
- New business development role, self-generating leads and utilising Insight data
- Tasked with adding £1m sales revenue (likely split £750,000 aluminium and £250,000 uPVC)
- 80% of your time selling into double glazing companies (who don’t manufacture their own products)
- 20% of your time selling into regional housebuilders/ private developers
- Typical sales sizes £5,000-£10,00 for the double glazing organisations, up to £200,000 for 30 plots on a housing development
- Only dedicated field sales person

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Windows & Doors will with:

- A proven track record in field sales and new business development
- Must have sold into housebuilders or double glazing businesses
- Open to a background of working within a builders merchant or window trade counter looking for first field sales position
- B2B construction industry experience, ideally the fenestration sector
- Hardworking, trustworthy and reliable
- Ideally with contacts within housebuilders or double glazing businesses
