Job Summary:
Duties Include:
- Maintaining the internal import/export filing system, for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Creating and managing import / export documentation
- Managing supply chain related paperwork
- Preparing despatch documentation
- Liaising with Freight Forwarding companies
- Accurately completing export documentation in a timely manner.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth export of goods.
- Providing import clearance instructions to carriers and freight forwarders.
- Liaising with freight forwarders & HMRC to amend import and export customs entries.
- Undertake daily review and release export held shipments.
- Support the goods in, despatch and stores inspection areas as required.
- Assist the Import and Export Coordinator to ensure compliance with import and export regulations, including tariff codes, valuation and trade restrictions, to avoid delays or penalties.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal departments and external customers, providing updates and resolving issues as required.
